What kind of bulb brings out purple? Adding a purple bonsai and not sure if I have too much blue color bulbs that will wash out color.

i have a mix of blue + and aquablue special with a fiji purple and my bonsai hasnt lost the purple color. Its been in my tank for over 6 months...

From what I have read, the Z Figi Purple is a good bulb that really accents pinks, reds and purples. The ATI Blue Plus does a good job accenting blue corals.

yup add a fiji purple and see what it does for you. try placing towards the front of the fixture so that it lights up the front (main viewing side) of the corals.
