T5 and Clams

I am looking to adda clam to my set-up. The tank is well established and has been very stable for 2 years now. The tank is 24" deep and 48" long. I am currently running 6 x 54 w T5's and was wondering if a maxima thrive at the 12" mark. Or should I play it safe and add either a derasa squamosa?

i think you could have a Maxima if your running bulbs that are in the 6500k to 10k range,but if you have more blue bulbs then full spectrum then you might want to go with the others

You can add one in, just keep an eye on it.
Worse comes to worse you would have to move it up a bit.
