Hey guys, I am in the process of designing and setting up my 40 gallon breeder tank. Mixed reef Sps/lps/ zooanthids. Would a 4 fixture T5HO with 2x 12k daylight current led retrofit fixtures to go on either end of the T5 light. The buyer inside of me says to automatically go with the 6 x39 watt T5 fixture. I am not looking to "get by." I want to have amazing growth and coloring.
My thinking to this is you get the proper wavelength for growth with the T5 and the led will give the tank its daylight lights as well as add the shimmer I have been accustom too.
