Just recieved my 75 gallon oceanic with cap. Got 3 T5 Ready Fits from ReefGeek. Went to mount them in the hood and found trouble.
While the dimensions of the fixture certainly do fit, I need almost an inch more for the cord which makes it very tight. Will therefore need to do something about the end bracket on the opposite side which protrudes about a quarter of an inch for the mounting screw holes.
Appreciate any and all help from anyone who has mounted these fixtures and has any ideas (or anyone else with a clever thought).
