First time here with t5.
I got a regular 65 gallon reef ready.
To keep SPS how many T5s would i need and would i be able to put sps on the bottom???
What system would you recommend?
Thanx

I would think you would be able to keep some of the less light demanding SPS species on the bottom of the tank. As for bulbs and fixtures Loyalrogue just posted a group buy on the Sunhlight supply stuff. Check out there website to find the various sizes. I would go with whatever fixture would fit over the tank with the most bulbs.

at least 4 36" bulbs with quality reflectors. Are you doing retrofit or a fixture? If a fixture, I would strongly suggest Tek, if doing retrofit, I would suggest the IceCap SLR reflectors or a IceCap retrofit kit.

What SPS are less light demanding species? I have 55 gallon with 4x54watts T5 and like to maybe place some towards the bottom?

By the way the Blue Tort that I bought from you is doing great! :D
