Thanks Dave, that sounds do-able to me...I even have Plexiglas and some left over silicone from sealing my other tank. What I was thinking was to put my gorilla crab on one side by himself because he "doesn't play well with others". I could put him in my sump but I wouldn't really be able to see him all that much. I just want to make sure he doesn't escape to the other side.
btw...the 42 gallon hex I just re-sealed is doing fine- so far no leaks ...I'm glad I did it!
Plexi will not stick for long in tanks with silicone.
Get some glas panes cut and then make sure they grind the edges so they are not super sharp * you can also do this yourself with a Dremel tool and an oxide cone tip.
Glas will be the best if you intend for a long term partition.
