Tank has 2 chips near the seams ... what to do?

So my tank has 2 small chips near the seams under the silicone.
Sand has already seeped in.

It looks like it should hold, however since the tank is empty, what should I do?

Just want to add some insurance so I don't regret not doing anything 2 years from now.

I've read everything from using epoxy to silicone. Any thoughts?

I figure, however since the tank is empty... should I add some silicone over the top ? Epoxy? Remove the chip glass?

Will silicone even bond with the silicone currently on there?

If it were my tank, I'd fill it and go for it. I've run tanks before with chipped glass and "usually" if it's like a scalloped shell shaped chip with NO CRACKS, you're usually ok.

Biggest chipped tank I ran was a 150 DD cube and the chips were on the bottom pane. Ran fine for years, broke it down and sold it to a guy and he ran it for a few more.

I think I'll be ok... however, since it's empty, some extra security wouldint hurt.

I have thought about using 100% silicone 1 on it... however not sure if it will bond good enough to the existing silicone. I'm leaning towards gorilla epoxy now. Using tweezers to pull out the chipped glass and gooping the entire area.
