That tank is sweeeeet! The write up proves you don't need a big ol' tank and a ton of money to nail the coveted TOTM! Men, put down your pitchfork and torches. Reef Central has broken the class distinction barrier! :thumbsup:
 
Looks great Hambone!! I think your sister lives next door to me cuz that is what their pool looks like on a regular basis.

I was thinking of using your "roller system" on my 180. I'm getting tired of the electricity my Aquaspace light is using... Do you have a parts list? :D

Now I know what to aim for when I get my tank up and running. I guess Tank of the Month isn't just a pipe dream. :)
 
WOW !! Great tank. Do you have a web site ? Do you, sell, trade? I have a big box of spare Rio parts to trade for some scrapings of algea off your glass to seed mine.
Warning the box is very heavy and could cost allot to ship but I'd be willing so split the shipping.
Congrats. Some day when I work 2 jobs mine will look as good as yours.

This is wonderful tank, I will certainly change my goals and standards for my next tank. My only concern is the fish selection...

am I the only one who thinks some of those fish are too small for this tank.

Also, the skilter was producing a little foam, something is out of balance.

Other than that, great tank!:cool:

One other thing, how about fraggin some cyano, I do not have any of the blu-green variety.:D
 
You guys did look at the rest of the magazine right?

That photo of the fish with weed-whackers is a riot!
