Ryan, it is rather simple. Turn off all pumps (including powerheads) and fans or anything that may cause a ripple on the surface. Let the tank settle for a couple of minutes and shoot from a lower vantage point and focus on the mirror not the corals themselves. One key point to remember is to focus on a spot that has the most washout (brightest light or reflections of corals or rock) and the camera should automatically adjust light levels to prevent washouts. This is typically at the top of the tank anyway.
