Tank Raised Banggi Cardinals

In the next couple months I plan on getting a pair of banggi cardinals. I have heard that that wild caught ones are alot harder to keep than tank raised. Does anyone know were I could get a pair localy or were to go online. I can get a pair at Inland Aquatics for $90. I wanted to check there prices at some other places.

It does seem expensive but that is for a mated pair of them. How can you tell the male/female apart?

you may want to pm david seeing as he currently has a mated and breeding pair and knows a thing or two about raising them.

Good luck with the BC. I am currently 1 for 7 with those. They are either hardy and survive or they die quickly. The 6 that I have lost (pairs each time and one threesome) died within a week...not eating.

Take plenty of time observing them at the LFS and make sure you see them eat. Ideally you would buy them and leave them at the LFS for two weeks. Aquapals will do that for you.
