I have some of my old set ups for sale.
First is a 25gallon Acrylic all-in-one tank. Blue background, built in protein skimmer. No hood, no stand.
$100.
I bought the tank used and never ended up using it. The pictures are a bit old, and I have cleaned it since.
The tank was originally bought from Aquatica in Tinley Park. I believe I saw the same tank at Old Orchard. Maybe they could set you up with the matching hood or stand if you're interested. I did at one time have the hood ... but that's a long story.
I'm also selling my previous tank, a 50gallon acrylic tank that also has a rear false wall. You could use this as an all-in-one tank too, but I had it drilled behind this wall and used a sump. I used the space behind the wall to hold my heater, chiller coil, and 3 maxi-jet 1200's that I had on a wavemaker. There are holes near the top of the rear wall with loc-line coming out. If you were to choose to not use this method, the holes would not cause any issue whatsoever due to being above the water line. Plumbing also included.
The sump takes up the entire area of the stand. The tank is approximately 30" by 18" by 20" tall. (The tank is currently in Bartlett, and I am in Chicago or I would measure.)
Here is the tank filled.
Ignore the skimmer - it has already been sold.
Also for sale is the light that I used on this tank. Its a Current USA 34" Outer Orbit. It had 150w 10k Metal Halide (only 1 month of use and included), and 2 65w Actinics, as well as moon lights. I moved the 150w over, replaced it with a reeflux 12k, and added a second 150w metal halide also with a reeflux 12k. The second was from a reef optix 3 reflector, and a blue line ballast (i believe that's the name.)
Bulbs have 2 and 3 months of use, respectively. The addition of the second light is ~90% complete. It could use new glass over the bulbs. I ended up moving and setting up a new tank to ease the process.
I'm looking for $100 for the first tank, $400 for the light and bulbs, $250 for the 50 gal tank stand and sump. I have the light hanging kit as well as legs.
The light was actually originally purchased for the 25gallon tank and can work on that as well if desired.
