well...i think rogger just taught everyone how to hook an rodi to pretty much anything! only thing else would be to hook it up to a gutter and catch rain water, run it through the rodi, and walla.
on a better note I would recommend under a bathroom or kitched sink. you could easily fit a 5 gallon bucket under there. figure out how long it takes to make 5 gallons and set a timer. I knew a kid in college who had a 18 gallon rubbermaid container under his kitched sink. he supplied about 10 tanks worth of water through that container. all tanks were atleast 55 gallons. one was a 210. I've got no clue how he did it, but he did!

Og.. so next time i'll take your advise on the timer.. i completly forgot i had my RO/DI unit running to fill up my bucket and i just flooded under my sink and started going onto the kitchen floor.. 4 full size beach towles later it's mostely all up..

I have a TDS meter you can borrow, I just got it online for $12. I used to buy my RODI at LFS when I had the nano, but now I evaporate a few gallons a day and had to buy my own system. I live in one of the few places where we have only well water (and I don't mean artesian well water) and cannot even consider tap.
