Tell me about T.Crocea

I like to try one in a 10 gal. nano that has been running for over 1 year. All parameters are stable. Lighting is 150 DE HQI pendant. I know these clams need more light than others and I'll probably have to dose B-Ionic. Calcium is always above 450 and I do 2 gal water changes weekly (no skimmer). Would this clam do good in this tank? The one I have my eye on is only about 3 inches so, will I have to feed DT's or will it just filter out whats in the water column? I currently have SPS/LPS (Montipora and Caulestrea) and a neon gobie and all have been doing well. Anything else do I need to know. TIA

Sounds like a fine set-up to me, croceas are really beautiful clams. Feeding w/DTs is a good idea, espically for smaller clams.

Good luck.

Sounds like your setup will work nicely...until the clam outgrows the tank. :) Definitely feed DT's (or similar) phytoplankton. Your clam will appreciate it.
