Temp probe extension ACIII

I am moving the control head to a new location and the temp probe is just about 4' too short for where I would like to have it.

I am sure this is posted somewhere but I could not find it. Can I just make a 4 foot jumper cable for the temp probe or is it balanced to the resistivity of the OEM cable.

I can find a female/female connector and make a new cable?

Lengthening the cable should not be a problem. Of course the longer the cable, the more likely it is to have electrical interference issues, but 4' longer shouldn't make a difference.
