IF YOU HAVE A DELTEC HANG-ON YOU PAID FOR THE BEST SO YOU HAVE THE BEST.
My thoughts too.deltec is the absolute best. for those of us who dont have or dont want to spend that much coralife superskimmer is the next best.

One thing to remember is all skimmers seem to pull different things out of the water. My seaclone pulled thicker skimate then a remora that a friend had however when I broke it and bought the turbofloater multi I saw the difference in foam immediately which proved to be a great improvement as all negative algae problems disappeared in 3 weeks. So Just because the skimmmate looks nasty it doesn't mean nothing. How the tank looks tells you if it is doing a good job.

i thought the big thing was about the pin wheel in the deltec a better pump would be nice but may not increase the bubbles thats what i noticed right off so many very fine bubbles as pictured above
