Did you double up on the 1435s?
No just a single 1435 so far. Yes one single 1435 feels like more flow than the dual Nitros.

OK, now I'm waiting for someone to get the Octura x482 running. 3.22" diameter w/ a 4.508" pitch! I bet this thing would be too much flow for a 2,000 gallon shark tank! Seriously, I bet it would be too much flow for a tank less than 3' wide and 3' tall which pretty much puts us into the realm of 600+.

dh, my props should be here tomorrow from octura, got some big dogs on the way. so i still need some help on making that coupling part for the air line tubing to the magnet, a closeup pic would be nice. right now i have mine coupled directly to it so it wont slide up or move anywhere, thus why it wont hit the stopper when it starts in reverse.

For those Octura props what Maxijet did you try those out on? I am working on doing this on a 600 and a 900 I am not hoping to have everything blowing around in my tank.
Thanks for this great thread.

dh, i attached my prop similar to how you have tyours attached but when it spins backwards it doesnt pull itself into the stopper to reverse itself. is the seio magnet stronger than the maxi making this feature not possible. also how does a seio start up in the right direction everytime, since i dont see a stopper in them

Modding the 600 is a little different than the 900 and 1200. The magnet on the 600 doesn't have the little plastic nub to attach the flexible tubing on to.
