So maybe they'll go from the "Don't Buy" list to the fragging list.
Today I received two elegance corals from thecaptivereef. I talked to Mike about the Elegance he was bringing in from Australia - and he mentioned he is fragging them, I'd never heard of such a thing. He said he had two that were doing well if I could wait a week or two and I'm glad I did! After just an hour or so - they are doing great. He said his collector frags them frequently and considers them some of Australia's hardiest.
I had two elegance corals when I left San Francisco 6+ years ago, gave them away figuring I'd get more when I got to AZ, then the "plague" hit. So hopefully these do well, and hopefully now that Australia is exporting them, they don't over collect. I doubt they will, they are probably a little more responsible towards protecting their reefs.
