The Queen Conch killer

I have a Mexican Turbo snail that I have had for several months now. Well I did have till last night. I also have a Queen Conch, and a Nassarius snail that turned out to be a Whelk, which I found out can be dangerous, so if you’re Nassarius snails don’t go under the sand watch out. You see I went to look at my tank and found the QC, and two Nassarius snails teamed up on the poor Mexican turbo and I think they ate him or most of him any way, and I have caught them going back for more. Has any one else ever had this happen to their prize Mexican Turbo snail?

People have lost various animals to whelks, etc, so you're not alone. I've lost Xenia to a peppermint shrimp, and a few others along the way.

got a pic of that queen conch? it's the first i've heard of one eating flesh and wonder if you have a crown or horse conch.

Well it may or may not be a Queen Conch. I was going by what it was sold as. I will try to post a photo of it as soon a it comes to the surface.
