Thinking about adding coral

Never had coral before an was wondering whats the best/easiest type of coral for a begginer like myself. I have a 5 gallon.

Tanks been running for a little over a year an lighting i have a 50/50 an a moonlight led

Do you test for anything? Alk, ca, phosphate, nitrate?

How often do you do water changes?

50/50 florecent an calcium level is at 400, an i do a gallon water change every month.
