Thinking of black sand

Greetings everyone. I keep an SPS /zoa tank that has great colors. I recently added black vinyl to the back and noticed it made the colors pop even more. I am thinking of going with black sand.

What are your thoughts and recommendations? I am worried that all the black sand I seem to find is small and will create sand storms.

detritus sticks out like a sore thumb on black sand. you hardly can notice it only white sand however.

I have black Tahitian moon sand in my tank and absoultely love it. My last tank I ran with white reef aragonite and this looks way better. Also the fish that like to bury themselves like the fine sand more. here are some pics!

How's that Tahitian black sand working out for you? The pics look like it's brand new are you having to clean it often to keep it looking so clean? Is it magnetic and does it get cloudy easily? Please share
