Hey Pedromatic, does that diamond goby spray sand every where, over the corals? Im looking into the bluecheeked gobies and dont want them covering my corals w sand?
I have two in my 240 and they do a great job a sifting and cleaning detritus.
In fact the actual process IMO benefits the critters(corals) that is.

Lol Paul, Invertigator is the guy who posted above with the yellow clown goby that seems to like resting on his gorgonian.

OK so I am getting senile I admit it. I will be retiring in 35 days so I am allowed to be

My DG is very industrious. He's constantly shifting sand around, piling it up. Just keep the expensive stuff higher up and you should be OK. I have a colony of cinnamon polyps (a.k.a. Andrea's chocolate mushrooms). They were getting half-buried every day and still thrived. I finally moved them up onto a LR, but they were OK in the sand.

Dang, I need a faster camera. I can't get a clear shot of any of my wrasses (the avatar pic was luck). PM me if anybody knows of a good deal on a digital SLR.

Pls let me know how to go about it since I've misplaced his website address.

Bernie, that's an orange spot rabbit fish. Doesn't touch a thing in my reef exceptin algae. Has very gently sampled/mouthed polyps on my giant cup, a few mushrooms, clam right next to him in the pic, a few other things but then realizes it's not food and lets go immediately.

Do you have any issues with the emperor and your corals? From your other pics it looks like you have a mixed reef...

Jon as long as you keep most pickers (angels, foxfaces) well fed, they don't really bother corals. I know that's not what you asked, but I've looked into it and asked around a lot, and people with large polyp munching-looking angels just set up automatic feeders, and their fish are always full, so they never bother to nip anything, SPS or otherwise.
