Thread from one year ago today - How about some Updates?

I started this thread a year ago today, before I had my 55 set up. Most of the pics of full-tank shots are still there. Some reefers we never see around here anymore. Some have upgraded--some have had tank catastrophes. I thought it would be cool to see updates from the people who posted and pics from people who weren't around or didn't post then.

How about some new pics of full-tank shots?

By the way...other interesting topics going on almost exactly one year ago:

1) They booted Dobelady
2) Lonnie getting his new tank
3) Chadfarmer upgrading from a CPR bakpak to a Euroreef

Can you tell I'm off today?

Yes Lonnie it's been a year. As you were getting your New 240g I just bought my 90g. Remember, I was going to buy your 75g set up, But then back out for the 90 instead. Time fly's when your face in stuck to the front of your tank. lol

Chad with a CPR!!!!!!!!!!

:lolspin: :lolspin: :lolspin:

if you thank that is bad my first skimmer was a skilter than a seaclone

This is scary, Chad. I am following in your footsteps. I had a skilter, then a jebo seaclone knockoff, then a CPR, now a Euroreef. Let's see, then I need to do the dual-skimmer thing, then a Deltec, right?

I'll help keep this thread alive and on topic. lol

My 29 at 4 months, it was turned into a 58 soon after that was taken.

The 58 today, but it has a short shelf life at this point. I am trying to get the 125 set up this weekend. :-)

Thanks...I almost forgot about the original intent. Looks good, Jack.

My update:

One year ago, I had a tank full of live sand and a few pounds of live rock in a 55 gallon, plus a few fish in a 29 gallon at school.

Here are a few pics from my 90--taken this morning. Sorry for the quality, there was lots of light coming in the windows.

Since we are cruising in the wayback machine I thought I might dial it back just a little further. In a few weeks I will be celebrating my 5 year anniversary with ReefCentral. The more things change the more they stay the same!!!

I think your reef is still a great reef and has been an inspiration to me. We all have setbacks and recover from them. :-)
