Tiny air bubbles in my tank.

My return (to tank) is blowing a million air bubbles. My tank is kind of cloudy because of it. Is there a solution? Thanks for your help! db

You are getting micro bubbles. You need to have foam or baffles around your return pump to stop the bubbles from getting to the pump and up to your tank.

If the tank was recently setup, give it time and it might clear up. If it doesn't clear, your return pump may be pushing more water than your sump can handle. What return pump are you using?

If the return volume is reasonable, it also could be an air leak in your plumbing.

Ya i wonder if its the pump being to big! Iwaki rlt70 i think is what it is. Will empty my sump in probably less than 10 seconds. About 40 gal. guess?

aNy other suggestions? it does sound like micro bubbles but also like my pump is to big.
