To intercept or dragon face pipe fish.

I have a serious red bug infestation they seam to prefer 2 out of the 6 acros the two have stopped growing and started to lose color slightly. I've known about red devils for a bout 8 months I just can't come to terms with dosing interceptor.
Has any one had success with dragon face pipe fish and red bugs? My LFS has dragon pipe fish coming in on Wednesday. How do they do in the reef aquarium ? The only fish I have is a school of cromis in a 90 gallon with about 100lbs of LR

I've tried a pipefish and I really didn't notice him eating much redbug. Interceptor is the only way to get rid of red bug.

I just bought two dragonface pipefish two weeks ago for the same reason. I have a box of interceptor on the shelf but wanted o try biological control first. I haven't seen them go after redbugs yet. Even if they don't go after the bugs I'd still buy two of them. They're awesome fish. They always stay together while hunting. Very social and very interesting to watch.

Use the interceptor. Its easy and from my experiences and others it doesn't harm any corals. I dont like to add unnatural things to my tank but chemiclean and interceptor have proven to be effective and safe.

I just dosed 1/2 a pill in a 120, twv of 150. Everything went great. Even my cleaner shrimp survived (I tried for two days to catch them). I was nervous also, but lots of research eased the nerves.

Nice to hear that, I guess I haven't done enough resarch that's why I'm nervous.

Yes I've heard that. I just didnt know how good they where about hunting red bugs.
I'm going to try interseptor first.I might give them a try after I rebuild my pod population.

Is there a dose formula? I have a 90gal but TWV is about 70 gal. I have about 100 to lbs.120 of LR. How much do you think I shoul add 1/4 pill?
