to many fish for a qt, what to do?

i have...

flame angel
2 chromies
cleaner wrasse
blenny

with an ich outbreak. a 20g qt tank. however wouldnt that be to many fish fot a 20g?
 
QT doesn't need to be slick... you need a container, a heater, and a filter... and can even go without the filter. You can get a food grade container for well under a buck a gallon... just go to Home Depot or any other hardware store. You'll spend more on water than you will on the container for it.

Some use PVC for furnature and others recommend broken clay pots. Either is fine. Live rock wont be live for long if you treat your QTed fish with copper or hyposalinity, so don't use live rock in your QT.

Also... that's not "too many" fish for a QT. Sure... it's way too many fish for a 20 gal display... they'd hate it. They're going to hate QT anyway. They're there for a matter of four to five weeks... not for their entire lives. They've spent time in much smaller areas. Most of our fish have spent weeks in containers well under a gallon while being shipped to stores and what not.
