To Much Flow?

SW Goober

So I finally decided to get back into SW after taking 3 years off. I bought a BioCube 32. I'm currently using a Hydor Koralia 3rd Gen. 1350 GPH. Just wondering is that way to much flow? Right now I got it pointing at the surface of the water because it blowing the sand around to much. Also would it be better to use a controller with a powerhead that strong? I've attached a picture so you can see where and how the powerhead is pointing.

Thanks for your input :)

PS
Yes I'm adding more live rock ;)

1350/32g = 42x
Thats perfect IMO.. 30x is minimum 42x is just right IMO..

It can take a bit for a bacterial coat to develop on sand that will help "glue" it down a bit and keep it from blowing around so much..

Just add more rock and keep it pointed towards the surface..

I have an MJ1200 with propeller in my 29g anemone tank, about the same gph. Definitely not too much flow. Mine is in one back upper corner pointed at the other back upper corner which creates slow flow the other way along the bottom of the tank.
