toadstool leather coral problems

Hello, i have kinda white spots on toadstool leather coral. Is it just shedding?

Looks to be sloughing a layer off to me.

If this is a picture just before lights come on, those "white spots" may be a folding pattern... I've found just before lights come on (And during moon lights, when he sleeps) and he retracts all his feeders and folds up, the lines he most folds on turn white (Atleast with mine, mines yellow and pink.).

But it could also be an oncoming shed.

Looks fine. They can look blotchy.
