Toadstool leather help

I have DIY leds on my tank and the driver crashed a few days ago. I had to leave for the weekend so i threw a crappy spare fixture on while I was away. I installed a new (temporary) driver to get my leds back on today. All my coral opened back up and are looking great. SPS, LPS, and a bunch of softies. The only thing that seems to be effected by the outage is my neon green toadstool. It hasn't opened up since the driver crashed a few days ago. How can I tell if it's dead? Anyone else ever have em close up for a few days?

Yep toadstools will close up every once in a while. They're shedding a mucus layer. Mine stayed closed for a solid 4 or 5 days. Just make sure it has some flow over it to help shed the mucus.

my toadspool closes up for a week or two every few month, then sheds and is bigger and better. i would think as long as it is upright it is doing ok.

Heck, on occasion mine will drop the canopy almost entirely and then regrow. I use it as an opportunity to make some nice Tyree toadstool frags lol.

Interesting coincidence, same happened to me too.

Internal fan of DC power supply to powerleds were failed with a great noise in the middle of the night, so I turned leds off. Remained like this 3-4 days with some short periods of illumination. After 4 days, fan replaced and I was expecting it to open, no way. Now its 3 days without tentacles but body looks healthy. I think I should give it a full week to see what will happen.
