Toadstool placement, levels, what? Stand him up!

Hey guys, having some trouble with my toadstool. I've had him for a little over a month, trying different spots in the tank but I just can't seem to get him to stand up straight and open up. Here's some pics for reference:

My tank is 24" L x 24" W x 12" H. As you can see, I have him about halfway up and around 18" away from the front of my MP10. I have it set to nutrient export at 75%.

My levels:
Temp: 78f
Salinity: 1.025
PH: 8.2
Ammonia: 0
Phosphate: 0.04 ppm
Nitrate: 4 ppm :(
Calcium: 450 ppm
Alkalinity: 10.5 dKH
Magnesium: 1380 ppm

These were taken about 3 days ago, same with the pictures. I've tried different placement, flow rates, and light intensities. Any idea what else I can do? Thanks in advance.

leave it alone. toads don't like to be moved. I have two in my tank and they still droop every once in a while. a couple of days and they pop back up.

Alright. The first 2 weeks I had him in the same spot, just on the sandbed to try and acclimate to my lighting. It still did the same thing, bent over and "arms" out. I'll leave him like this and see how he does in the coming weeks.

I also run carbon a gfo in a dual reactor to try and bring my phosphate and nitrates down so I can be better equipped for more LPS and hopefully SPS in the near future.

It looks fine to me, maybe try adding more flow to him. They like lots of flow. I have 3 and the do like to droop down sometimes. However, he is still small and I do suggest taking him off the plug and attaching him to a rock. The base of the stalk of the toadstool is going to get massive and it is going to need a large surface area to attach to so it can get large.

Dont stress mine to this day after 8 months stays big and happy while also not point strait up. Mine is at like a 45 degree angle and is happy, they will just face the way they like :p
