Too late to add an Anemone?

I have a 180 gallon mixed reef (mostly lps and sps) with 2 perculae clowns and 2 tomato clowns. The tomato clowns have decided that they like hosting in my 2 Gonioporas. Unfortunately, one of the Gonis does not feel the same bond. In an established reef, is there a safe way to add an anemone? Will that even help the problem? Thanks for any help!

If the system is established, I don't see any reason why it would be back to add an anemone. Just acclimate it, and you should be fine. The clowns may take to the anemone quickly or slowly...but hopefully the tomatoes find it first!

PS - be careful not to put it too close to your sps or lps. And make sure if it moves that it doesn't touch them. Sure death to the sps & lps.

I have the same problem. I have one false percula that is hosting in a goni for a couple of months the goni didn't seem to mind, I bought an RBTA 2 weeks ago and the clown won't even look at him. I then added a baby true percula hoping he would take to the RBTA and instead he followed the other clown and dove right in the Goni. Now the Goni is ****ed he doesn't like 2 fish bothering him and doesn't open very big like he used to. Here is a pic

An alternative that doesn't go walkabout might be a frogspawn coral: I've heard they're known to host clowns, but I'd ask someone more knowledgeable about that. We had clowns by building a rock 'fence' around their anemone and putting it at the beginning of the water-stream. The clowns liked that place and kept the anemone in line, but I always worried about the inhabitants downstream if it ever had gotten annoyed. Carbon, if you haven't got it, might be a good addition.

Well, I bought a bubble tip anemone and it has decided to settle at the base of my Capricornus. Could be worse. The problem now is exactly like jcar1 has, the clowns haven't even looked at the anemone. Any clown psychiatrist?
