Too Much Kalk AHHHHH...

Hey,

I have a tank that is only got uncured live rock inside the fuge. The tank, the sump, and the fuge got over dosed during the night. I have a PM Kalk reactor and a Kent Float valve, well the valve got stuck and now like 5 gallons of kalk went into a 100 gallon system total. The tank water and sump and fuge water are all a milk color. Can I A. Just wait it out due to my tank is not even cycled yet, or B. Should I change the water and delute the kalk. I have like 3 more weeks on the cycle so it's not like I was at the end of the cycle. Thanks...I really don't like the milk color plus it's leaving a film on my acrylic and glass...

u could throw a skimmer in, it pulls out kalk fast, wont change the quality and therfore wont change the cycle

I would do a water change and disconect the kalk reactor until your PH and Alk come down to reasonable levels.

Thanks for the help...I do have a skimmer but it's a PM Bullet and it's a PAIN to get working. You have to have the moon set right at the west eastern part of the pump then have the water the correct hight or the skimmer will self destruct. Really this is by far the worst skimmer I have ever used. Anyhow i will do a water change and then hope for the best. thanks..
