Top Fin 46G Bow Front and Stand

Anyone got the same tank and stand and have feedback? I would greatly appreciate it if you can also tell me how much you paid for it, new or used. Thinking of upgrading my current 20G with this one. I know people here like All Glass or Oceanic, but I want to hear from people who actually own the Top Fin tank, a real user experience. Thanks!

I've had this tank and stand that I bought over 3 years ago at Petsmart. The tank has been great and I've not had any problems. The glass is holding up well(no scratches or chips). If the stand is the same as the one I have look at a different one. The one I have has little shelves next to a small cabinet in the stand. It does not leave enough room for a sump or alot of equipment storage underneath.

I have the top fin tank, but passed on the stand - looked like junk to me. I built my own stand and cnopy.

think i paid ~$170 for tank, glass top, and flourescent light - a shame since i ended up pitching the lamp and glass top when i got a deal on a MH light and built my own canopy...

quality on the tank seems excellent, glass top left a little to be desired, as the plastic hinge did something funny and tweaked it so it didn't fir right pretty quickly.

I finally found it. I paid $189 for the tank combo, whcih included heater, light net, filter, glass canopy, etc.) I paid $140 for the stand that I don't like now that I have a sump.

We also have this combination from Petco. We paid around $500 for the tank, stand, filter, heater, lighting, etc. While we do like the tank as it fits well in our smaller apartment, we do dream of the day when we can get a bigger tank, 100g and up, with a sump setup instead of the hang-on equipment we have to use now. All-in-all though, a good starting setup.
