Can I put any other corals next to this? I have heard that this coral stings is that true?

All stony corals sting, and should never be less than a few inches from eachother. Your Caulastrea is generally less agressive than many other corals, just be careful that it doesnt get stung by whatever you put it next to.

no, they go by candy canes, trumpets, and caulastrea.
