I have (2) Tunze 6201's with a Multicontroller in a 180-gallon reef tank. I noticed yesterday that neither of the 6201's are working. I disconnected both of them from the multicontroller to try to isolate it to the controller since neither were working to no avail. I assume you simply disconnect the cord(s) going to the multicontroller to operate the 6201 independent? I do not know for sure since I have only operated them with controller since installation.
The instruction/owner's manual is average at best when reviewing troubleshooting issues. The red led light is lit on both transformers/power supplies, so I am assuming that the 24v fuses are good? It is surprising that neither of the 6201's are not working at the same time; unless it is simply Murphy's Law at work?
Is there any other troubleshooting techniques that I can try? The 6201's are a little over a year old, do they need to be completely disaasmbled and cleaned?
Any help and/or insight wpuld be greatly appreciated.
