Tunze Stream electrical help

Hi,

Fianlly getting around to mounting my TS24 kit, Tunze very kindly allows a very generous amount of cabling, in my case its nots necessary and I wish to keep the cabling as tidy as possible.
Is it ok for me to have the excess cabling much as it is out of the box ie. in looped form with a cable tie?

I know that you should always unwind cables like extension cords to there maximum, but in this case it being low voltage is it OK?

Also, how hot does the heavy round thing..transformer(?) get in operation?

In normal conditions the transformer just gets slightly warm but if the pump is run seized it will get hot. It is ok to wind the cable.
