ultra restricted rics

just came home to find my rics the most restricted as i have ever seen them, they have been in the system for about 3 days... I moved them to a higher position 24hrs ago. they seem to be doing well. Now it looks bad, Mouths Gapping!! bodys shrunk and slightly pale..

All params look good. Other shrooms doing well..

Whats wrong?

Maybe too much light.... what kind of lighting do you have? You may need to put them at the bottom of the tank under shade especially if you have MH lighting so they can acclimate to your tank. Do you know what kind of lighting they were under before? They may be bleaching.

yeah at the LFS they were under MH placed on the botton, i started them there and they seemed ok, when i raised them they seemd ok also until today. But they are moving and swelling (not fully expanding but swelling) during light hours. Thes guys confuse the hell out of me.. any help would be greatly appreciated..

If you've had them for only 3 days and moved them up high after the first 2..you're moving way too fast for them!
You need to take a few things into consideration.. if under MH at the LFS..are they the same K rating as yours..and you need to factor in the age of the bulbs? Is your tank the same depth as the LFS?
This is why most people start them out on the bottom of the tank..if they are doing well there..leave 'em alone! If you want them higher up (after you know they are acclimated to your tank parameters) for decorating reasons..try and only move them up a couple of inches at a time and leave them in that place for a awhile to see it they are 'happy'..then move them further up by another couple of inches. Slow progress with these guys is best.

If they get lighter in color they are usually bleaching/stresses and you want to move them to the bottom & to a shaded location asap.
