Uncured Rock Question

Currently I have a 10 gallon thats been setup for 8+ months. I drilled another 10 gallon tank to move the 10 thats setup into that tank to have it going to a 20 long sump/fuge.
I was going to get 15 lbs of rock rubble from premium aquatics but it was going to cost me 65.00 for overnight shipping.
I've decided to get 11 lbs of fiji nano rock from marine depot live for 59.00 shipped overnight.
This rock is uncured. Basically, I'm wanting to select a few pieces I get for my main tank, and the rest will become sump/fuge rock once its cured.
Since i've never got uncured rock before, i know some critters, etc might arrive on the rock as hitchhikers. Other than the bigger critters like mantis/crabs/etc, should I be worried about getting critters like red bugs, coral eating pods, flatworms, etc?
The rocks will be put in a rubbermaid while curing so i'll have ample time to watch for unwanted pests, but what would be the chances that something like I mentioned above will arrive in my rock? I know its hit or miss with uncured, but i don't want to buy it if the chances are pretty good of getting flatworms, redbugs, etc in the rocks.
Thanks
Stewie

With uncured rock the chances of getting unwanted hitchhikers can run pretty high. I got uncured rock, and got 7 unwanted crabs.

How many lbs did you order?
Did you happen to get/see anything like flatworms, red bugs, any unwanted smaller critters?
Thanks
Stewie

I didint order it, I was at my LFS looking for rock and they got 2 extra boxes of rock and didnt have room for it. They sold me 85LBS of uncured Figi for $50.
I didnt have any flat worms, or anyhting like that, just these stupid crabs. Believe me once I caught one I would find another a few months later. It took me 3 years to get all of them out.

I read on Drs. Foster Smith they said you could increase your salt levels in your container and the pests will come out of the rock into the water and you can pick and choose what you want to keep? Anybody else heard of that from another source?

You can do that kind of high-salt dip, but it doesn't always work, and it might kill a lot of animals, etc, that you'd rather keep alive. I wouldn't do it.
