unknown eggs

Last fall I found a couple of what looked like egg sacks attached to the bottom of my canoe. Fish and Game could not identify them. they were about 5" long shaped like a large night crawler. 1/4-3/8th" in diameter with concentric green rings with four dark spots around the rings. the rest of the sack was translucent. They were attached (glued) to the bottom of the canoe by one end. Does anyone know what they could be. The lake is a landlocked lake with trout, suckers, Sticklebacks, fresh water clams, leaches and snails

Odds are some kind of snail.

My mistake was giving my samples to Fish and Game. This Summer I will look for more.

Yes it's a freshwater lake about 90 miles NW of Eagle River, AK
