URI 454 VHO actinics

I have used those bulbs, right now have some super actinics but overall have been changing out vho with t5

I use vho atinics, not sure if they are the exact type you listed. But I have been so happy with the color on the 180(never had vho b4 always had pc and t5) I'm going to keep them.

I have the 454's in the PC-R on my temporary 20L and the T5's on the new 40 breeder. I've heard they are comparable to the ATI blue plus that everyone loves, but i've never seen those in real life.

The 454's are a very nice blue color. I think i need to work on my bulb combo in the Tek T5 fixture tho, since the GE bulb kind of washes out the blue, and the actinic bulb hardly does anything... i also haven't moved the nicer corals into that tank yet, so time will tell.

i just added two of them, there really bright the color looks like a t5 460. i like them so far.

i was just reading grim's huge T5 thread, and he mentioned that the par on the 454's wasn't as good as the blue plus.... but he didn't cite numbers or anything.. i don't think anyone around here sells ati bulbs anyways
