Hello all!
Recently I had added an piece of "Driftwood" to my aquarium I had purchased in a local fish store.
After a few weeks I had noticed the water tinge was turning the water a mircky brown/orange tint... NO thanks!!
So in my attempts to ridding the discolouration of my aquariums' water, I added a chemical filter medium to my HOB Marineland 400 BIo wheel filter.
Within three days, the water went back to a crystal clear colouration which I prefer in the first place. (helps show the fishes colours better when clear water is in place)
Anyways, the water additive I am using is called FLUVAL SEA - TOTAL CLEAR.
I was wondering if anyone has ever used this stuff and for how long?
I believe it is HAGENS version of "Chemi-Pure" and It works quite well!
Thanks to all who reply.
