Using the 24 Volt Outlets on Power Bar 832

Long-time user of ACIII; recently bought Apex and still learning it.

Are the 24 volt connectors unique to Apex? In other words, if I want to control a third-party 24 volt solenoid valve (i.e., not the Neptune product) that comes with just bare leads, can I get a standard connector and splice wires together, or do I need to get a Neptune-specific 24-volt cord? If the former, what is the type of connector referred to as in the industry? If Neptune-specific, I see that BRS has something available.

Thanks

Hi Scott,

I wasn't looking to getting down at the level of attaching pings to leads and then fixing pins into connectors. I was just wondering whether there are cables out there elsewhere to splice on. Looks like it's a known/available configuration in general, given that the connectors/pins are out there, but at the end of the day the BRS-available cable may just be the easiest thing to get....... (or get a 120V AC solenoid and connect to a "regular" outlet on the 832......)
