Va Beach

Here are the 3 I check when I'm home:

Animal Jungle- They used to be (~10 years ago) the most amazing place I've ever been (they had a greenhouse and everything), but then something happened and their saltwater went to crap. Now they are moved into an old grocery store and are more like a petsmart than anything, but still worth checking out (they do have a cool walk-in bird-room if you are into birds). Last few times I've been there it's lots of tanks full of blah, overpriced, dying stuff.

Fish Safari- They took over as *the* store when animal jungle went to crap, but in the past ~3 years they've slid themselves.

Reef Chief- I've only been twice since he moved out of his townhouse garage. They are the current torch-holder, but everything is ridiculously overpriced, like 350 for a 10 head frogspawn colony, and 600 for a 6" cap.

let's see if this works:

I'd say Fish safari is awesome. Don't know when you'll be in Va. Beach, but they will be closed Monday. Animal Jungle is not even a shadow of what they used to be, usually not worth walking in the door. If you come by way of I-64 Fish World in Richmond is awesome too. I'd say Fish Safari and Fish world are the two best in the State imho. You got to see their 1,200 dispaly reef tank! Last time I was there the coral selection was incredible.
