Add me to another customer receiving poor customer service. I still own the Illumina and a Bubble King SM-250. Was hesitating about post this, but what the heck. For the cost of Vertex Illumina, they have terrible costumer service.
Took me over 2 months just to get a replacement part for the Vertex Illumina. Glad the whole light wasn't completely down, tank would have been long gone. Never offered just to replace the part, just kept on suggesting...try this, try that. After 3 or 4 times, finally I had enough. I had to asked, can I just get a replacement as I just purchased only about 3 months ago and tired of trying to make it work. Reply was, it is out of stock. Man it sucks.
I have a made in china Water Blaster pump that the outlet broken. Called Coralvue, no questions asked. Replacement was sent out right away and received in 2 days. Didn't even have to ask for a replacement.
If I were to purchase a brand new LED light today, I can tell you it would not be a Vertex Illumina. Customer service is just terrible. Proline Aquatics was who I dealt with.
