Hi Notclear. Do you know when the multicolor aux modules will be available? I read an article on Reef Builder suggesting that they would hit the market around Christmas time. Obviously, that hasn't happened yet.

The multicolored modules are priced at $195 each here in the U.S. although the retailers don't have them in stock yet. I'm wondering how much they are in Canada. Any ideas?

I saw that on Aquarium Specialty. I agree with you about how steep the price is considering that most of us will need 3 or more for coverage of the entire tank. It is by no means cost effective at this price point.

Yeah, I am hoping that they are selling at around $150 max. each.

The high price is confirmed. BRS has listed the same price! I am almost certain it will be the same price range in Canada.

At this point I'm beginning to question where the saving is in running LED with these over priced aux modules especially now that I have a solar system producing almost all the energy that I use. I'm tempted to switch to T5s.

I have a 24" illumina on a 38 x 38 x 24 cube and it is perfect. Great light spread. The light runs corner to corner

wholley crap reap your tank is exploding with light. do you think that that 36" one that im talking about is a good price 1200 and its 2 years old.

I was speaking with a vertex tech and inside the fixture it is time stamped the very first time it's fired up. So you can verify if its 2 years old. Seems like a pretty decent deal though. Ill tell u a 24" fixture over my tank running at 50% max and all corals are flourishing even at the edges of the tank. And I'm running the 200 series

Does anyone know what version of software is required to run these multicolored modules? It doesn't seem like Vertex owners are jumping on the band wagon to buy and install these modules at $195 each.
