Red, green, warm white, and uv.

Hi,

I am from Germany and have the Vertex 260 over my tank (160 gallons).

I have the problem that red Acans I put into my tank not later than one week turn into orange.:headwallblue:

Maybe this is a general problem of LED light:

Has somebody of you tried the multicolor modules over red Acans and can tell me what happened ?

And not turn on the laptop the insert the thing and wait

Did you guys watch the BRS video on the Cerebra? Nicholas mentions that the Illumina would be functionally operational through it. Given it being an android-based platform, it would seem logical that there is some way to extrapolate that and forward it to an android smart phone via custom app? Or maybe I'm just dreaming, haha! Can't wait!

I run mine through an ipad.

I have an old laptop in the the cupboard under the tank with the dongle left in. I then connect to the laptop via logmein to do all of my tank stuff. I run my ghl software through it and my vertex software.

I guess it'll work but for most people it's a waste of power leaving a laptop on just so we can connect to it to adjust the lighting. Now mine is up and running, I hardly ever need to adjust it, but if it was on a ipad/android, then I'll probably play around a bit more when i'm in front of the tank.

True, but in the grand scheme of the things running on my 8 footer it'll hardly save a polar bear if I switch the laptop off.

I only ever gop into the light settings to use the light studio so that I can take photos. Otherwise, the tank is too blue by the time I get my camera out.

Ur both right but the point is that u are sitting around and checking ur email with ur phone and play some lights with whatever ur holding in ur hands...
As for the vid of bulkreef I wached the video of radion lights on I pad...
With and aplication...
Btw guys its not fair to pay for muti color pads twice the price...

talking about the multi modules. i have 2 green, 10 red and 1 green marble BTA in my tank. Te newest one is the green marble BTA (2 months) and has growing nicely.
I have a 260 on my 5ft tank, have had it for around 5 months. Decided to dabble the module one day and put the UV and red on a measly 2% for 6 hours. 2 days later i found the green marble BTA had turned to mush.... All the others were fine.

Strange. I have a beautiful RBTA under my pads (28% UV & 50% red). It's been like that for at least six months now.

How long did you have the anemone for?

I've got 12 BTAs in my tank. Only one perished and it was a different variety to the others. Here's a picture of the nem from the advert, but needless to say it was no where near that colourful when I got it :sad2:

I've had it about 2 months and it was flourishing under the vertex, before I put the UV on at 2%....

Help Controlling Lights

Help Controlling Lights

Is there a good manual or idiots guide on how to use the software to program the lights?

I was able to update the firmware after installing the lights, but after using the software to change the settings and I thought loading the file to the light, my lights are not coming on unless I manual use the controller to change the settings.

The software doesn't seem to connect unless I manually turn on the lights either

I expect there is something simple I'm missing so guidance to any help would be appreciated

i find 3 used multicolor module for vertex 120 260.... and i ask you if really have benefit for sps and if the multicolor worth their price.
I already have 3 modules uv and 2 red
