Very OT, but I don't care.........I'm having a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife is expecting our first child. We had our ultrasound today. She's 21 weeks along so far. The name is private, but the sex isn't, so I decided to share!

We found out that at least so far we are having a very healthy baby girl!

As a dude, I know ther is not much I can understand about the stress and everything women go through being pregnant, but from a guy's perspective, I gotta say, the ultrasound today...............seriously one of the coolest things I have ever seen in my life! It was one of those moments I will always remember! Just amazing.

We're very excited!

Myexcitement, pushed me to share the news. I know it's VERY OT, but who cares this is awesome!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup: :lol: :D

I'm sure I'll see some of you tomorrow at the swap!
 
Congrats! Having a first is a pretty awesome experience. We kept it at a complete surprise and when the Doctor had me call the sex I was more than surprised it was a girl, I was wanting a boy, but I would never have wanted her any other way. Daddy's girls are something special. The next one can be a boy :)
 
I guess every guy wants to have a little son at some point. I am no different in that aspect, but at the end of the day all I wanted to hear was that the baby was doing fine and was healthy. I heard that and got very excited. Knowing that it's a girl was just bonus. Like you said, the boy can come next.....hey at least we have more of an excuse to keep trying ;)

I can't wait. Excitement is only the tip of emotions I am feeling right now!

Yup I was wanting a son but the 2nd is a girl. (there is always next time)
When you came over last month I was even asking you, do you have any kids yet..
Oh and just let me know when you want to pick up that Blue xenia.

Nothing wrong with girls, mine likes tromping through mud to catch critters, fishing and Saltwater fish tanks...

Make sure you mitigate mom's girly-girl attempts with lots of pets and fun hobbies (like this one..)

a HUGE congrats to you and your wife!!!...I have three children and can truthfully say that it matters NOT the child's sex...ALL children are a blessing my friend!!!....enjoy each and every moment, because they grow up faster than you "blink" an eye ;)

BIG CONGRATS to you both and I'm thinking of a big "hug" while writing this. Prepare for your world in change in a million good ways. Remember there is a very weird force working in the universe..our children get older but we don't seem to age at all...I say this knowing my son's birthday next month will be his 35th :eek1: :eek1: :eek1:
