This past weekend I was in Pittsburgh for my one year anniversary my wife and I stayed at the Morning glory Inn on the South side. If you need a get away I highly recommended it. Anyway on my way out of town I got to hit two shops I had never been to. Elmer's and Wet pets. Wow they are both really nice I was so impressed. If I had a store like Elmer's in Morgantown I would have a 0 balance in my checking account.

I picked up a nice torch, a zoa rock, peppermint shrimp, and a dozen hermits to round out my cleanup crew.

My man cave has been taken over by my wife's Christmas stuff

Little update of things that happened over the Christmas season.

Purchases some Brightwell Aquatics MicroBacter for the tank to help boost its bacteria levels and take care of the redslime. Looks as if it did just that. As of today the sand is as clear as it was the day I put it in the tank. I will hopefully have time tomorrow to post some pictures.


Bad news is I dropped my skimmer in the floor and broke the chamber in two pieces while doing a water change. I was able to repair it since it was a clean break but it is going to bug me knowing its not new.......... Ohh well
