I finally got my 125 running and have been playing around with the MP 40's. The have an absolute ton of flow and the wireless communication is great. I'm curious as to what everyone thinks is best mode to run them?

It will be a mixed reef and it is the standard 6' tank.

I have one on each end of my 175. I have them both on the reef crest mode, but i make sure that they run opposite. My coral loves the new flow. PE increase tremendously.

I wish I could afford the vortechs. I want to put a 10 on my 40 breeder. It will have to wait until either I find a MUUUUUCH cheaper apartment or I get into a job in my degree discipline.

Mark - how high above the sand bed (assuming you have one) are they placed?

my tank is 28in tall with sand. I have them 18in off the sand bed. I have them that high because all my sps is from about 15 in to top of the tank.But i do get flow on the bottom. i did have to put 2 Koralia 4 evolutions back in for flow to the sand bed. Also have 2 9.5 mag return pumps running up as well.
