Its going to be pretty tough to get a tank alone, but if you want equipment with it you may want to watch the used equipment forum or local forums in your area to try and get something. When people get out of the hobby they will often try to sell everything in a complete package rather than piecing stuff off little by little, its a good oppurtunity to get a complete package for cheap.

Most of the time, youll pay about the same for the whole package as you might pay for just the tank and stand new

Craigslist works for me.
Got my 180 acrylic w/ sump, closed loop plumbing, pumps and heater all for $200.
I smile everytime I think about what a deal I got!
