Water change emergency

HI.

Could someone please let me know how much water I can change in a mature tank. For instance. Could I do a 50% change two days in a row?

Is there a rule for X% changes in Y days?

You can do whatever you want. Just make sure the alk of the water you change with is close to the alk of your tank water. Otherwise the rapid alk change can stress the corals.

I've done 90% water changes without complications.

pH is more important. pH, temp, salinity and you should be good

Ph swings throughout the day. If you make your water correctly the ph, salinity will match or at least be close enough to be fine. A big alkalinity swing can and will kill some corals.
